Service Description
Jungle Horseback Ride: What to expect: Saddle up to a relaxing walk along dirt paths and tall trees in a lush Caribbean Selva (jungle) Let your senses explore the flora and fauna. Large, native indigo butterflies flutter around the paths along with other wildlife that will be pointed out by your English- speaking guide. Dismount to check out a small cavern once used as a shelter by ancient Mayan Indians over 2000 years ago. Trot along to Cozumel’s oldest pueblo, the renowned "El Cedral," located in the heart of the jungle. “El Cedral,” is home to many local artisans ~ hand-made hammocks, arts n' crafts, hand-carved & folkloric souvenirs are sold here along with some really fine and free flavored tequila tasting! A small-scale Mayan Ruin that dates back 2000 years is well worth getting off your horse to see! Riders/Novice Riders: The trail continues to a Savanna and opens to a wider trail where if you have been waiting to canter, this is the time!! (Novice riders may continue to walk) Riding Time: 2 1/2 - 3 hours 8 a.m. 10 a.m. 12 noon, 2 p.m. 4 p.m.

A nonrefundable deposit is required to reserve the Tour Guide. We recommend the balance to be paid in cash USD upon arrival. Visa/MasterCard is accepted upon arrival. Credit cards incur an 8% Mexican business fee. Additional Information • For safety reasons pregnant women (5 months and up) can’t participate in any of our aquatic programs. Women with less than 5 months into their pregnancy can participate in the Encounter program only if accompanied by another adult and after signing a Responsibility Form. • If you have any health or physical disability, please contact us before you make your reservation so we can provide you full information about our services. • Please use biodegradable sunscreen to protect the environment and marine species. • Bring towels and cash for taxis, shopping, meals, etc.
